Prior to the actual performance of a notarial act, the interested parties should contact either the Notary Public or the Office clerks. This initial contact will help us to determine the subject and the scope of the planned notarial act, as well as the type of documents that should be presented at the Office before the notarial act can be performed.
Any documents that may be necessary for the proper performance of the notarial act should be submitted to the Notary Public prior to the planned date of the actual notarial act. A detailed, initial analysis of the documents will allow for the smooth and safe performance of the requested notarial act.
The documents presented to us should be original (not copies). The Notary Public will verify their validity and will decide whether they constitute a proper basis for the planned notarial act. Such a procedure is in accordance with Art. 80 of the Notarial Law Act which requires the Notary Public to take due care of protecting the rights and interests of the parties to the notarial act. A thorough, prior preparation in accordance with the rules presented herein, will ensure that the planned notarial act fully meets the clients' expectations.
